CIMAGE SELECTS GOOGLE AS TEXT SEARCH PARTNER

We are pleased to announce that Cimage is partnering with Google
to provide new text search solutions for the Cimage product line.

Cimage will make available two solutions based on Google Search Appliance:

• Cimage Text Search

• Cimage Enterprise Search

Cimage Text Search

Textual content within the Cimage database will be indexed by the Google Search Appliance and made available for searching within the Windows DM Desktop and Web-based Fusion client.

The Google Search Appliance crawls your Cimage database and creates a master index of documents that's ready for instant retrieval using Google's search technology whenever a user types in a search query. The Google Search Appliance is easy to set up and requires minimal ongoing administration, making it extremely cost-effective.

Users will also be able to use the Google Desktop for Enterprise to search for content in their Cimage database.

Cimage Enterprise Search

Content from all types of corporate web servers, file systems, portals, content management systems, relational databases and your Cimage databases will be available for searching within the Fusion web client.

Cimage Enterprise Search leverages the power of Google’s search technology to provide a enterprise wide federated search environment that is conveniently integrated into the powerful Fusion web platform.

Google.com puts the Web's information at your fingertips. The Google Search Appliance does the same thing for your website or corporate network. The Google Search Appliance is a hardware and software product designed to offer large businesses the productivity-enhancing power of Google search.
