Viewing
Fusion provides a range of viewing features:
Preview Users can preview the contents of
a document without downloading the document to their machine.
Cimmetry AutoVue Web Edition (an optional add on) provides the preview functionality
and supports a wide variety of drawing and office document formats.
Application Launch Documents can be
launched into a local application at the users workstation. Once
launched, the user can print the content to a local or networked
printer.
Forms The attributes (metadata) associated
with a document can be displayed in an HTML form. The form can be
configured to display the information in a format and style familiar to
the end user.
Quick Info Displays metadata for the
currently selected document. Fusion can be configured to display
specific fields.
More Info Once a user selects a specific
document, Fusion can quickly display other related information. More
info can include audit history, markups, or the previous revisions of a
document (by default, a user only has access to the latest revision of a
document)
User Alerts for Change Control Immediate
visual indication if, for example, the document is undergoing change
control by another user.
